If Cristiano Ronaldo ever wants to leave Real Madrid, AC Milan would welcome him with arms wide open. SkySports reports Milan owner and president Silvio Berlusconi said he would not turn down the chance to bring Ronaldo to Italy, as long as the price is right.
Berlusconi was speaking to the Italian new outlet about Milan's summer transfer plans. He is a big fan of the Portuguese star, but knows it would be tough to pry him loose from Real Madrid.
With a financial crisis gripping both countries, it's unlikely that Ronaldo will move for anything approaching that sort of figure. But some players (and their agents) are so powerful that they can force transfers and choose their destinations. Ronaldo is certainly one of them, and if he wanted to leave the Spanish capital, his price would drop.
"I could not say no to him," SkySports reports Berlusconi told Italia 7 Gold. "But it would have to be a fair price that was in line with the economic crisis that is not only affecting Italy."
